Football Club Alliance Competitive Program

football club alliance joins elite academy league for the 2025/2026 season

June 24, 2025 | Pinole, CA

FCA has joined a group of elite clubs competing in the EA Northwest Norcal Conference for the 2025/2026 season. All of our U13-U19 Boys Blue (first) teams will compete in EA and experience a league designed for talent identification and national competition. We are excited to bring this elite competition to the West Contra Costa community and to bring our culture of player development, sportsmanship, and teamwork to EA. As always, we look forward to providing this extended development pathway to our families at the lowest possible cost so there are no financial barriers preventing players from competing at the highest levels. This is a milestone achievement for FCA, but we're not stopping here.

A few spots remain on 2007-2013 Boys EA teams for the upcoming 2025/2026 season. These are teams for advanced players who want to compete at a high level. If interested, please contact info@wccysl.com.

Football Club Alliance is a competitive soccer program that challenges players on an accelerated development pathway that includes year-round training, intense competition, and physical and psychological development. Players develop a tactical understanding of soccer that prepares them for high school and college soccer programs.

Many Football Club Alliance players go on to play at the collegiate or semi-pro level and several have also continued their soccer education as trainers and coaches. Whatever their goals are, we provide opportunities for players to reach their full potential and develop a passion for soccer.

Open tryouts are held annually in May. For more information, please contact:

What Makes Us Different

Community Focus

Football Club Alliance is a community-focused club. We have deep roots in our community and take our responsibility for providing competitive soccer opportunities for our members seriously. Our families and board members frequently participate in local events to support the cities and towns in which we play.

We believe competitive soccer should be accessible and affordable for all families. This belief drives our commitment to keeping fees low and offering financial assistance to families in need while still including a majority of the same offerings as nearby competitive programs. Development First

In every competitive soccer program, teams compete to win. We value competition, but prioritize player development. This influences everything we do from team formation and coach selection to division placement. When a player tries out for Football Club Alliance, they are evaluated and placed on a team to match their current level of development. If they are not ready for one of our competitive teams, we recommend they continue their development at the recreational level. Our priority is making sure all players are placed in an environment where they can experience the healthy balance of wins and losses that is optimal for their development. We push our players and teams to challenge themselves and always reach for the next level.

Analytics

We value analytics and believe strongly that it is a key part of developing a tactical understanding of the game. We have invested in Veo AI-based cameras to record the majority of our home games. Our teams have access to the WCCYSL clubhouse where coaches review games with their teams and educate players with tactical boards and analysis tools. Coaches have access to professional level statistics that display possession, heat maps, passing strings, and other informative data. Players can review their highlights from home and see comments and feedback from their coaches.

Education

Educating our players starts by educating our coaches. We provide frequent professional development opportunities for our coaches. US Soccer coaching licenses, NorCal hosted trainings, and our own hosted trainings are all provided at the club's expense because we value their commitment and understand that this development transfers directly to our players.

Football Club Alliance is also proud to partner with the world leader in coach education, The Coaching Manual, to provide our coaches with access to the best session content and professional tools to aid them in their coaching journey and better develop our players.
