Registration for the Spring 2026 In-House Season is now open! It will remain open until February 1, 2026.

IN HOUSE RECREATIONAL PROGRAM FEES

Uniforms are purchased separately from Soccer Post in El Cerrito.

Matches and Teams

• Matches on Saturdays: March 21, 2026 to May 16, 2026
• Schedules are available in early March for the 8-week season on Sportsengine.com/App.   
• Matches will be played in Hercules and Pinole (unless alternative fields are needed)
• No WCCYSL Picture Day (Fall Season Only)

Practices

• Start around mid March 
• Coaches/Team Managers will contact families in March prior to first practices. Communication may be through Sportsengine.com and you should adjust your account settings to receive communication via Sportsengine.com messaging.
• Interested in volunteering to Coach? Send an email to vp@wccysl.com and/or mark on the registration, you are interested in volunteering. 
• Practice times and locations to be set by each volunteer coach and confirmed with WCCYSL for each team. You will not know your practice days, times, or locations until March when you hear from your volunteer coach. Practices are typically assigned weekdays between 5-6pm or 6-7pm

Uniforms & Gear

• WCCYSL Jerseys (blue/white reversible) available only at Soccer Post in El Cerrito. 
• Black shorts and team socks (color to be determined at 1st team meeting).
• Shin guards and soccer cleats.
• Soccer balls are provided to coaches, but you should buy your own ball (U6-U8 Size 3, U10-U12 Size 4, U14 Size 5) to use outside of practice as well.
• Players should bring WATER to all practices and matches.

Volunteers

• Each team must assist the league with various activities including set up and take down for match fields and field maintenance.       
• WCCYSL relies on the support of volunteers for coaches, board members, and many other roles. Volunteering is required by all player families.
